  • 8 years. I still can't get my head around it being 8 years ago to this day that the forum was created. I always think about the good times we have had at CMX and I am so proud of the great community we have formed :)

    For over a year now HostForWeb’s global footprint includes a SAS 70 Type II certified, high availability, high-power density data center in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is a brand new facility that currently provides space to some of the biggest companies in the world. Their client list includes: RackSpace, Google, Microsoft and others. In the last year we have made major upgrades to our networking infrastructure as well by upgrading our routers at the new facility to latest Juniper MX80 routers.

    In order to take full advantage of the new infrastructure, we have to relocate servers from our current Data Center. Therefore, on Tuesday, January 25th, 2011 we will be relocating hosting machine your account located on to our new state of the art facility. We will be moving your server after 5:00 pm CST to accommodate regular USA business hours.


    So if CMX is down for about 6 hours at some point in the next day or two, don't be alarmed. :)
