I like to read. Quotes, unusual words (I'm sure if I remembered more of these I would be a far better Scrabble player!), strange happenings (anything out of the ordinary) from around the world, these all take my interest.

At the end of March this year I noticed that the French composer Maurice Jarre had passed away.
    This I posted in the R.I.P.topic at http://www.cricketmx.com http://forums.cricketmx.com/viewtopic.p ... 253#p96253

    Maurice Alexis Jarre, born September 13, 1924 - died March 28, 2009

I linked to the Guardian U.K. obituary article when I wrote the post.
There was one line in the article I really liked, so this became my contribution to the
"Peoples favourite words or sayings of the day" http://www.cricketmx.com http://forums.cricketmx.com/viewtopic.p ... 254#p96254

And then, and then...along came...Shane Fitzgerald!
That would be Dublin University College's sociology undergraduate, Shane Fitzgerald.
Revealing that he had set a test for the world's internet dependent media organizations, Shane had created a quote then added this to the Wikipedia page on Maurice Jarre. He then sat back and watched it all happen.

And happen it did. The perfect dudding! You dudded us all!
I took the hook...and it was a lie...you little stinker!
Me? I don't mind one little bit. In fact, I gave myself a hearty pat on the back while doing a little Irish jig!
Of all the quotes in all the www ...I chose that particular one.
Shane, your quote will be a favourite of mine for a very, very long time.
In fact, I have quotes playing in my head and that only I can hear! Image
