I am never more content than when I am lost within the pages of a Diana Gabaldon book. Time travel excites my imagination. I know what I will do if I come across a circle of standing stones. I have penicillin with me at all times...it just keeps on expiring while I wait for my trip back to the 1700s. I will keep renewing my prescriptions in the certain knowledge that my day will come!

I am a long-time Doctor Who fan. In fact growing up I thought he was my family's Doctor. If Back to the Future is being shown for the umpteenth time I watch. I know for certain that I will one day own a hoverboard!

The whole concept of aliens is something I don't spend a great deal of time probing. Well, truth be known aliens probing is something that scares the hell out of me!

Ghosts. I just don't know for sure. I have a strange feeling that I may have reason to believe.

I love crop circles! The geometric shapes, the symmetry appeal to my orderly take on life. I do wonder though, if I were the owner of one of those fields whether I would see the artist's work as just an act of disorderly conduct.

I first learned of CERN in Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. My much loved, illustrated collector's edition needs to be re-read before I see the movie. I know there will be no contest. The book will win, just as it did for The Da Vinci Code.

CERN's Antiproton Decelerator promised to produce large quantities of antimatter.
The atom-smashing Large Hadron Collider promised to bring us closer to time-travelling reality.
We are still waiting. But, we are getting closer all the time.

I can see the day when I will be choosing items from my closest IKEA store to decorate my lean, clean, Scandinavian styled time-travelling machine. All this contained within a blue Police Box of course!

First stop the moon 40 years ago. 24 hours before the historic moon landing takes place.
I'll be watching for the gust of wind that flutters the flag.
If flag-fluttering floats your boat...I'm the observer you need to "follow".
I'll twitter the flutter. Beyond a shadow of a doubt I'll know what happened.
