No problem
How it looks is all dictated by the contents of external_body.html
With a bit of HTML and CSS you could style it quite well. ie. you could use <hr> to add a horizontal line between each news story, or you could use CSS to put them each in a different box, etc

That looks great El Diablo
Have you tried using the $post_link variables? As it will be the first post, it will be the same as linking to the topic

Thanks.
Hello battye,
It’s me again; almost a year has passed since the last time I posted here. I was very happy with the page we created with your help, but are now trying something new.
If you could please take a look at this:
http://www.poquer833.com/prueba/prueba/index.php
I’m trying to display the last 6 topics of the forum news section but have not been able to. I was thinking that using a feed would do the trick, but have not been successful with that either.
The slider or ticker also displays an image. Is it possible to display the image of the post? Most of the time the images come from a bbcode in the post.
This is a sample topic post:
http://www.poquer833.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1822
We would like to place this on www.poquer833.com under the Main Slider.
Thanks for your time and happy holidays!
Victor.
